I love classical music. Every time, I feel upset, I will listen to Beethoven's symphonies or Mendelssohn's violin concerto. To me, it's a very useful way to wipe out my bad mood. I think it is helpful to build my both my rationality and sensibility as well. I always choose classical music as my background music when I work on my tedious accounting balance sheet feeling extremely crabby. It does control my bad temperament and improve my patience. Also, the beautiful melody can broaden my imagination when I need a brain storm.
But, actually, when I met it at first, I didn't really into. The reason I think could be that I was forced to learn violin when I was only five years old. It is a big misery to any child who has to spend one hour every evening in practicing while others at the same age are watching TV or playing computer games. Because I was too young to understand the deep thesis of the great composer, I didn't enjoy the every single note I played at all. The great pieces of music which are regarded as graceful by everyone weren’t appealing to me. At that time, I totally didn't understand why my mother urges me to do that every day. Although she said it is good for me in the future, I still can't accept her opinion.
After I grow up, I play better than before because of the accumulated practice. Since them, I begin to realize that if I can combine every note very well instead of just stress one single note, I can make a beautiful piece of music. In addition, my mother introduced me to another experienced violin instructor. Under the teaching of my new teacher, I begin to know and understand the music I played. My instructor also explained some related information of the music to me, such as the background of the composer and what is the main idea that composer tries to express. She introduced the spirit and the soul of the classical music to me, leading to me to another stage of playing, which is let yourself moved by the music first and then move the audience by your interpretation. From then on, I became a crazy fan of classical music.
I love classical music because I can make a lot of friends through it. I join the college orchestra and have rehearsal every week. I also have performances every several months. As a result, I meet a lot of people who share the same interest of classical music. I also learned a lot of music knowledge from my friends who play different instruments like cello, clarinet, trumpet and oboe. It is really interesting when different instrument players talking about their funny experience. All in all, classical music brings me so much happiness; I love it.
I do not love classical music nearly as much as you seem to love it, but I will agree that when I'm going to study I turn on my Pandora and often turn it to John Mayer Radio or OAR Radio but there are some times when I feel like classical music better suits my mood and it will help me to focus more and study more intensely. Classical music can put you in the mood to learn and to focus. I would agree that it makes you feel at ease as well. Sometimes classical music, in my opinion, is the best music to listen to while studying.
